Gold Rush is a T1 Airsoft event where players take on the role of fictional Private Military Contractors (PMCs) hired by two opposing rival Irish gentlemen who each claim that other stole their family's gold.
Two wealthy Irish businessmen have built their fortunes on a secret—they are both leprechauns, hiding in plain sight. Using their financial empires as cover, they arrange for a massive shipment of gold to be transported via a private cargo plane to a secure vault overseas.
Unbeknownst to them, the plane is shot down mid-flight over a remote, war-torn region, scattering their treasure across hostile terrain. Each assumes the other had a hand in the crash, suspecting betrayal in an attempt to claim sole ownership of the fortune. Fueled by paranoia and centuries of leprechaun trickery, they independently hire rival private military companies (PMCs) to retrieve the gold—under the pretense of recovering stolen corporate assets.
As the two PMCs descend upon the crash site, conflict erupts. Mercenaries clash in the jungle, each side convinced they are retrieving their rightful employer’s gold while dismissing the other as thieves.
There are three primary ways of winning Grayzone.
Buildings are marked with numbers in blocks, such as the 100 block, 200 block, etc. Areas in red are off limits. The map may be used with MGRS grid coordinates but also as a simple Alpha-Numeric grid system for ease of use.
