Cheating and/or disobeying the following rules will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave and banned from future play if found cheating.
Waiver
The online annual waiver must be completed and submitted before players are allowed onto the field to play airsoft.
The annual waiver is based on the physical year. Each physical year the waiver must be filled out again.
If a player is under the age 18 a parent or legal guardian must fill out the waiver using the player's name and age.
Age
The minimum age is 8.
Players under 12 will require a parent or guardian to be present for their first time.
Players under 18 require a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Players under 18 are required to wear lower face protection as well.
Dress Code
Players are NOT allowed to wear any red clothing. Red is the color for "Do not shoot" dead rags and staff uniforms are red.
Footwear must be closed toe and heal.
Conduct
All participants are expected to treat each other with respect.
Do not call other participants out as ‘hit’. They will call themselves out if they were hit.
Hate speech of any kind is not allowed.
Threatening other players will result in an immediate ban.
Ammunition
Players may bring their own BBs to use.
All BBs must be biodegradable.
All BBs must be 0.20g or heavier.
We suggest only using high quality BBs.
Real Firearms
Real firearms are not allowed at the field due to the similarities with airsoft replicas.
Administration
Admins are the only figures on the field with authority. Do not attempt to resolve issues yourself.
Admins may be reached via radio on Channel 10 (Frequency 467.612).
All players are expected to listen to administration at all times.
Eye + Face Protection
All players must wear full sealing ANSI Z87.1 rated eye protection.
Eye protection must be worn at all times while on the field.
Eye protection is a zero tolerance policy.
All players under 18 years old must wear lower face protection.
Face protection worn by players under 18 years old must be BB resistant. Plastic or metal mesh, fabric alone is not enough.
Night Time Game Play
Full sealing ANSI Z87.1 rated eye protection must be clear.
No tint clear eye protection is a zero tolerance policy.
All players must have a way to illuminate the ground to be able to return to the parking lot.
Gameplay
Dead Rags & Dead Lights
It is mandatory that participants to have dead rags on their person at all times.
Dead rags are a piece of red cloth (minimum of 12 inches x 12 inches in size) to be prominently displayed when shot by a BB during gameplay.
Dead Lights are red lights or red cloth held over red lights to be prominently displayed when shot by a BB during night-time or low-light gameplay.
Emergency Call "Blind Man!"
All players are required to yell "Blind Man!" when a player is injured or risks being injured, such as when their eye protection falls off for example.
If you hear someone yelling "Blind Man!" stop playing, stop where you are, and yell "Blind Man!".
Remain where you are until an admin yells "All Clear! Game On!"
Blind Firing
Blind firing is where a participant shoots their replica without aiming, specifically around a corner. Blind firing is strictly prohibited.
Radios
We suggest bringing a radio for long range communications.
Listening to the other team's communications is prohibited unless directed by administration.
Jamming a radio frequency in any way is not allowed.
Death In Game
Admins will explain what to do when you die in game before each game as different games we play may have different respawn rules.
When you die, yell "HIT!" unless killed with a melee weapon.
You are considered dead if struck by a BB.
You are considered dead if a grenade explodes within 20ft of you, regardless of whether you are hit by a BB or not.
You are considered dead if you are touched from behind by a rubber training weapon.
When dead you must display a dead rag or dead light.
Melee Kills
Contact kills are made with realistic training weapons. Players may only complete a contact kill against another player from behind.
Safety Kills "Bang Bang"
We do not provide ‘safety kills’ at our field.
Players must be killed as explained in "Death In Game" and "Melee Kills".
If you decide to offer someone to call themselves 'dead' they may accept it.
Calling yourself dead is final. You may not change your mind afterwards or while walking off.
Airsoft Guns + FPS
Chronography + Inspection
All participants are required to have their airsoft replicas chronographed before participating in any games.
Participants are also required to surrender their replicas for inspection to the administration if asked to insure safe replica operations.
Failure to surrender replicas to administration upon request will result in removal from the field.
FPS + MED + Replica Classes
FPS (Feet Per Second) is the measurement of how fast BBs are traveling as they exit the replica. FPS is measured using a 0.20g BB as a standard. Heavier BBs will have lower FPS limits.
MED (Minimum Engagement Distance) is the minimum distance at which you can shoot someone. A 40ft MED means you cannot shoot someone who is closer than 40ft to you.
Different airsoft replicas are separated into different classes, each with specific rules regarding their FPS and MED.
Refer to the weapon class below for
Replica Class 1 (General)
Consists of most rifles, pistols, shotguns, and sub-machine guns.
400 FPS limit (using 0.20g BB)
0 ft MED / NO MED
Semi-automatic fire only.
Replica Class 2 (DMR)
DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) is a classification used for replicas that fall in between being a regular rifle and a sniper rifle.
Must have a magnified optic attached.
450 FPS limit (using 0.20g BBs)
40 ft MED
Semi-automatic fire only.
Replica Class 3 (Machine Guns)
Machine guns are replicas modeled after real world machine guns, such as the M249, M60, RPK, and PKM.
Machine gun replicas typically use box fed magazines for ammunition.
450 FPS limit (using 0.20g BBs)
40 ft MED
Full Auto fire allowed. Burst fire encouraged.
Replica Class 4 (Sniper Rifles)
Class 4 replicas consist of bolt action sniper rifle models.
Must have a magnified optic attached.
Sniper rifle replicas are typically spring or gas operated.
550 FPS limit (using 0.20g BB)
80 ft MED
Bolt action only. (You fire and then have to manually operate the bolt to load another BB.)
Grenades
All grenades have a 20ft kill radius.
BBs expelled from any type of grenade count as a ‘hit’, even if more than 20ft away.
Walls and half walls count as cover against a grenade. However, other players, trees, and items do not.
All grenades must detonate to count as a kill.
Previously detonated grenades or shells are not allowed to be thrown at other participants to fool them.
Detonated grenades or shells are considered destroyed once used.
Grenades may only be rearmed at respawn.
Grenade Launchers
Grenade launchers are allowed but with specific restrictions. Any violation of these restrictions may result in expulsion.
Only approved foam rockets may be used in grenade launchers. Grenade shells may not be loaded with BBs, only gas. This gas should only be used to propel foam rockets.
Any foam rocket fired from a grenade launcher is considered a grenade, with a 20ft kill radius.
Grenade shells used to propel foam rockets may only be recharged at respawn.
