Escape from T1 is a T1 Airsoft event takes place in a destabalized fictional foreign country where a major city has recently collapsed. Players take on the role of fictional Private Military Contractors (PMCs) who seek to make it rich in a lawless zone or the role of Scavs (Scavengers), the locals who are trying to get by in what was once their home.
After recent Greenerland and Tanistan interest and deployments in the country of Oliveguay after a natural disaster following a meteor crash, one of the nearby cities, Teewan, has collapsed and become a lawless place without government.
Oliveguy government, with the aid of Tanistan and Greenerland forces, have locked down the city. Despite this, many foreign Private Military Groups (PMCs) have been approved to operate within the city. While their goal is to stabalize the city, it is nothing more than a cover for PMCs to line their wallets with wealth left over from the collapse.
There are three primary goals of Escape From T1.
Buildings are marked with numbers in blocks, such as the 100 block, 200 block, etc. Areas in red are off limits. The map may be used with MGRS grid coordinates but also as a simple Alpha-Numeric grid system for ease of use.
TSEC (Tanistan Security) is a PMC group primarily funded by Tanistan forces. There are no uniform requirements and TSEC players will be identifiable by blue armbands during play.
TSEC players are permitted all types of clothing, including camoflauge, all types of tactical gear, and all weapon types.
GEAR (Greenerland Expeditionary Assault Regiment) is a PMC group primarily funded by Tanistan forces. There are no uniform requirements and GEAR players will be identifiable by green armbands during play.
GEAR players are permitted all types of clothing, including camoflauge, all types of tactical gear, and all weapon types.
Scavengers, or scavs, are locals who have become stuck in the closed off city. There are no uniform requirements and scav players will be identifiable by orange armbands during play.
SCAV players are NOT permitted to wear camoflauge, no body armor, no helmets, and weapons should ideally be simple- such as pistols, shotguns, or basic rifles without any attachments only.
NPCs (Non Playable Characters) are participants in the game who are volunteering for roles meant to facilitate gameplay, such as traders and mission suppliers and are identifiable by white armbands during play.
NPCs are not considered active participants in the game and should NOT be shot at during the course of the event.
The Ares Alpha app brings real-time position of your teammates, a hierarchical chain of command, mission updates from the game organizer, as well as transmission of information to the team leaders on the battlefield.
Leadership for both sides will have access to tablets and phones that track the location of leaders, allowing commanders to control each side's forces more accurately.
Command may use the provided systems to place markers for enemy forces, routes, and various other things during the course of the event for leadership on the field.
Many objectives during the event will have QR codes attached to them that players can use their mobile device to scan to score.
All leadership will be provided with radios during the course of the event to ensure that communication is maintained.
The standard rules for the T1 Airsoft Outdoor Field are all in effect during the course of Battleground events. To read them click the link below.
When a normal participant is hit they may return back to their HQ immediately or stay where they are for however long they want. This allows them to wait for medics or simply head back whenever they feel like it.
However, once a player decides to "die" and return to HQ, they may not change their mind, receive Buddy Aid, or be reset by a Medic. They may only return to HQ at this point.
When a player dies, they must leave their Loot Bag where they died.
All participants should have between 3 bandages on their person.
When a participant is hit and becomes a "dead-man", they may be revived by any other still alive participant. The alive participant will take one of the dead-man's bandages and securely tie it around the dead-man's arm. Once finished, the dead-man becomes alive again and is back in the game.
Every participant may receive buddy aid once.
In order to receive additional buddy aids you must be wearing body armor.
Bandages may only be removed at your HQ or by a Medic.
If you are hit again and have reached the maximum number of Buddy Aids you can receive, you must respawn at your HQ.
All participants may receive Buddy Aid once. For every piece of armor you are wearing, you gain an additional buddy aid. Helmets and Plate Carriers are the only things that count as body armor. Chest rigs do not count as body armor.
If a player is wearing ONE piece of body armor (either a Helmet OR Plate Carrier), then they may receive Buddy Aid twice before having to respawn at their HQ.
If a player is wearing TWO pieces of body armor (both a Helmet AND Plate Carrer), then they may receive Buddy Aid three times before having to respawn at their HQ.
Escape From T1 is played out in multiple game sessions thoughtout the day called "Raids". Loot can be carried over between raids. Players out on the field when a raid ends are considered dead.
Starting out, all players may not wear body armor and may only carry a single airsoft gun, a single magazine for that airsoft gun, and optionally spare BBs and a speed loader.
Players will acquire loot during gameplay that will allow them access to more of their gear.
Before you can benefit from any perk on a Loot Card you must first return it back to base. For example, if you have only your Starting Equipment and you find a Loot Card that has the Full Auto perk on it, you may not use the Full Auto perk until you return to your base and consolidate your loot cards.
When exiting the spawn, players are only allowed to have one loot card on them and extra equipment they are carrying with them into the game must be labeled on their card.
When players die, they drop their Loot Bag. Players store all of their loot inside of this bag, including Loot Cards.
When you return to your spawn, you may have an NPC Trader (Admin) move one item per loot card to another loot card. Once an item has been removed from a loot card, the loot card it reset by the trader, wiping it clean. The new Loot Card the player posses is their new personal Loot Card.
Players may also have Traders move any item on their loot card onto their Personal Stash cards.
Escape From T1 incorporated a somewhat complicated system for finding, looting, and storing items/perks throughout the event. Essentially, items/perks are kept track via Loot Cards that are stored in Loot Bags. Loot that is not being used but that a player wants to keep for later can be transfered to their Personal Storage, which is a special Loot Card they never can lose.
A black drawstring bag will be provided to all players. This bag is your Loot Bag and is where you will store any loot found on the field during the course of play. When you die you drop your loot bag with everything in it where you died.
Loot Cards are cards players will carry around with them and that can be found out in the field that have various perks on them, from in game currency to access to Full Auto fire for any gun.
The event will not provide any items for the event, and players are expected to bring everything they want to possibly use during the event. Perks only allow players to use equipment they bring. Some perks, such as Ballistic Shield, may not be useful for players if they do not own a Ballistic Shield or cannot borrow one for example.
Personal Stashes are special loot cards that a player always keeps with them and never drops. While at base, after consolidating all Loot Cards into a single card, players may have a Trader move any amount of items from a single Loot Card to their Personal Stash card. Items in their Personal Stash are safe and cannot be looted or lost but are not considered to be active- you cannot benefit from anything in your Personal Stash.
Players may sell perks in their Personal Stash to other players for Money (as shown on the cards). Players should come to an agreement before approaching Traders to finalize the trade on their cards to save time. Players cannot trade perks for any other perks other than the Money perk. For example, you could not trade the Full Auto perk for a Night Vision Perk. You would need to trade the Full Auto Perk for a set amount of Money perks. Only items in a Personal Stash can be sold.
This event will be held in May of each year.
All times are tentative and depend on players and various other factors.
